Event Rental Rates
Facility Rentals:
The Eighth Maine Regiment Memorial is a great place to host special events for you and your family or business. You and your guests will be immersed in the scenic beauty and historic surroundings of the building and Peaks Island. Be sure to schedule an hour of time for a history filled tour with our Host - Dick Adams, aka the Professor.
The main hall and dining room are available for private event rentals on a limited basis - normally only in June and September.
2 Floors - Full day (8 hour) rental of main hall and dining room is $1,500.
1 Floor - Full day (8 hour) rental of main hall or dining room is $900.
2 Floors - Half day (4 hour) rental of main hall and dining room is $900.
1 Floor - Half day (4 hour) rental of main hall or dining room is $500.
The main hall can host events up to 150 and the dining room can host sit down service for up to 75 or buffet service for up to 90.
There is an exclusive rental fee of $1,500 when all of our bedrooms are rented and/or our dining room or main hall are dedicated for a day to your event.
We have 12 bedrooms available for overnight guests that can accommodate from 24 to 50 guests depending upon the number of guests in each room. Bedrooms require a 2 night minimum stay - holiday weekends require 3 night reservations.
All bedroom, dining room and main hall rentals require a refundable deposit of $500 and rentals including food service require a $900 deposit.
Meeting Room
The small office in the tower is available for rental throughout the season. Rates for small meetings (under 10 participants) are:
Full day (8 hour) rental is $25 per person.
Half day (4 hour) rental is $15 per person.
Not-for-Profit rates are 40% less.
Day Guests
Day guests visiting overnight guests:
Under 3 hours - $10 per person
Over 3 hours - $15 per person
